PBSKIDS.org provides children with ad-free, developmentally-appropriate opportunities to play and learn with their favorite PBS KIDS characters, including Daniel Tiger, Molly of Denali, Wild Kratts, Arthur, Nature Cat, Donkey Hodie, Alma, Rosie, the Wombats, Lyla and more, through interactive games, video, podcasts and activities. Research shows that the more ways kids interact with PBS KIDS content, the more they learn.

PBSKIDS.org provides a rich experience for kids ages 2-8, with streamlined character navigation and a large, high-quality video display. PBSKIDS.org includes a livestream of the on-air PBS KIDS 24/7 channel, making it easy for children to stream their favorite series anytime. PBS KIDS remains a digital destination for kids, averaging 15.5 million monthly users and over 345 million monthly streams across digital platforms.

In April of 2024, a redesigned PBS KIDS video streaming experience on the pbskids.org launched and will continue on a rolling basis. With this new user experience, it’s easier than ever for viewers to discover and engage with PBS KIDS content. The redesign offers a kid-driven experience, optimized for children’s needs. The improvements made during allow for better content curation and organization, in addition to higher quality and larger images. The increased accessibility allows a better user experience for those with older devices. It also allows for a positive user experience for those who do not have reliable internet access.

Additionally, pbskids.org began offering full episodes of six popular PBS KIDS series (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Arthur and more) integrated with American Sign Language (ASL) interpretations. Research shows that for younger Deaf and hard-of hearing kids learning to read, they can’t simply access the audio content of a story via captions, but benefit from seeing the ASL translations on screen. This builds on PBS KIDS’ extensive accessibility offerings and unwavering dedication to inclusivity, aiming to empower kids to engage with content in ways that best suit their individual needs and preferences.
Content available now includes 700 full episodes (equivalent to more than 350 hours of content), 400 shorts, and 68 podcast episodes available on PBS KIDS streaming platforms. PBS KIDS also has more than 300 curriculum-based games on pbskids.org and continues to expand its adaptive and accessible digital offerings, which includes games that offer closed captioning and audio controls. Additionally, PBS KIDS has a collection of games available in Spanish.

Each time PBS KIDS launches a new property, they offer full-length streaming video content and digital games related to the series on PBSKIDS.org and other streaming services. As the children’s media space continues to become cluttered with resources claiming to be “educational,” PBS KIDS is distinctive, with content that is research-based and tested for educational impact. PBSKIDS.org provides children and parents with a trusted platform to build important skills for lessons that last a lifetime. As PBSKIDS.org continues to grow, it will remain a top destination for families.
