The Really Loud House is a live-action adaptation of the animated series The Loud House. One of our main challenges as a writing team was figuring out how to pull from the original cartoon while still finding our own voice and characters when writing the Live Action series. Thankfully, our writing staff carries so much talent, from accomplished comedy writers, to catchy lyricists, to our support staff and everyone in between. When it comes to kid’s TV, it’s hard to find a show this funny.
Our aim as writers is to always maintain a rich and developed story, and this show offers the thrilling opportunity to balance both comedy and drama in a fun and fresh way.
The limitations brought on by such a large cast can seem intimidating. Fortunately, we’re blessed with an incredible crew that works with such fervor and care – they make the impossible possible, and deserve all the recognition in the world. From the writing staff that has to give words to a cast of fifteen, the set decoration and costumes that bring life to the world,
to the stunts, lighting, directing, and acting that make it all a reality – the chaos that happens in this episode is reflective of.
